It was absolutely typical of her to sit her ass here in the library and read.
Typical
Her hands would boredly flip through the pages as slow as sin. Despite that poker face she so pleasantly sheathed herself with, the girl couldn't stand to succumb to books on her freetime... especially here. As a human she could vaguely recall a little water sport call "Polo," or even the modern person favorite passtime--air hockey. Was this what she was reduced to? "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"?!
Giving a soft grunt of dismay, she'd pivot her heels to place the book back on the shelf behind her--gladly lifting her bag and sunglasses before heading out toward the exit of this godforsaken book land. If anything, it wasn't that she was bored, more so there was absolutely nothing interesting to read here. Merely fairytales of little girls being eaten by the Big Bad Wolf--the antagonist who frequented the pages of every 90-year-old's childhood.
It was only when the shelf to her left caught her eye, did she finally seem to pluck something of interest: a diary... a real one.
Shifting her eyes to and fro, she'd carefully set her things down, mumbling little profanities as she'd struggle to pick the lock of the damn thing.
Who's was this? And why exactly was she wasting her time trying to open it?!

And waterfalls of carameeeeeeeel...
Axel winced, the same song that had been tormenting his mind came to rape it once more. He couldn't even recall where he had heard the damn thing, or if he even had. It didn't matter how it had come to be, waiting to spring like a demented jack-in-the-box. One he wanted very much to take a sledgehammer to.
This was the place brains came to die. It had to be. There was little to nothing to do. And anything you could do became boring within a few short minutes.
Axel stressed his steps, making his boots click against the tiles. The echoing clicks were so lonely in sound, but it had an opposite effect. Sound was better than silence. Sound made it seem like you weren't alone. Where was everyone anyway?
Things had changed drastically. How, he wasn't too sure of yet, but it knew it. Before, it was easy to run into another member, not matter where he happened to be. Now... now he couldn't even find Demyx. He didn't want to seek the others out. No. He wasn't that pathetic or desperate.
But....
If he just happened to come across a hotspot, one that people were known to frequent, then that really wouldn't be considered a search would it? Nope, it would be a coincidence and that sounded a hell of a lot better.
With logic twisted, Axel did an about face and moved towards the place of utter dread. The place where dreams lived and nightmares dwelled. The place where he only tread in moments of utter necessity.
A library.

Fingerprints smudged the glassy exterior of the lock as she persisted to pick at it's opposing interior. Her teeth would grind with contempt as patience seemed to trickle down her neck in a single bead of sweat... It was amazing that such a tiny little task could squeeze that much frustration from the girl--only now was she beginning to rethink the situation she'd chain her concentration to.
Her ears caught the distant sound of something annoying, though. In the midst of the doorway stood something that'd cause her nose to wrinkle in utter distaste... It was.. that thing that roamed about with it's leash and muzzle--what was that again?
Oh yes...
Axel
Dropping the book to the floor, Larxene decided it would be best to turn her full attention on his lurking figure. Anything that boy was up to hadn't the least bit of good intent--she knew that much.
"No one invited you."

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes and sigh. Of all the damned blondes he could have run across, this was definitely the one with the worse bite. Cold, vicious, a perfect bitch all around. Crossing his arms, Axel leaned against the door's frame, a smirk pulling at the corner of his lips.
"No one ever does."
Why get an invite when party crashing was much more enjoyable? He glanced around at the high towering shelves filled to compacity with tomes both old and new. His fingers traced lightly over the spines of a row of the decrepit looking books as he moved into the room's interior. A party this was not and would never be.
"Now, I wonder what could get miss perfect all riled up..." His lanky form moved about with a strange grace as he stepped close to Larxene, bending like a willow branch as he retrieve the book that had held her attention. "A diary?" He examined the locked volume lackadaisically, shooting the Savage Nymph as secretive smile. "Never knew you were the type."

Her tongue seemed to scream as she'd forcibly sink her teeth into the fleshy muscle, restricting herself from preaching some absurdity to him. One had to be careful when speaking to this poor little animal, as it had the tendency to stick it's head in the jaws of lions. Sealing a deathly fate between neck and teeth this soon was allowing it the pleasure of succession... She would tolerate him a bit more just to spite such a pathetic attempt at irritability.
"It's not mine," she spat, "I found it... I was just... curious."
Her hands meant to snatch at the book, but instead, flicked a little spark his way. Why waste time with this clown anyway? She'd roll her eyes, pivot about and walk in his opposite direction, hoping to bypass any trickery he kept up that sleeve. So, much like before, she found her fingers browsing the jagged edges of age old books once again.
It seemed, though, that while her attention was kept on the literature hoisted above, her drawling words were all floating his way. "I honestly don't get why you come in here. The couch is mine, the coffee table is mine--this library is mine. Get out?"

I don't see your name on anything.
He kept the childish remark to himself. It served no purpose therefore it wouldn't be uttered. Besides, he wouldn't put it past her to find some way to mark her territory. She was possessive to a fault, much like a child whose entire existence revolved around the word mine.
"Curious, you say?" Fingers caressed the covering before trailing over the lock. "Why would something as trivial as someone else's thoughts be enough to garner your intrigue?" Oh, it made sense for him, but he knew how his mind worked. Finding out someone's intimate and juicy secrets was one of his little highs. Much insight, not to mention blackmail, had been learned through similar methods.
"Get out?" He chuckled. "Why when an entire world exist within here?"

Her back nearly snapped as she'd jerk herself to a straightened poise, looking over her shoulder to the pryokinetic jester. That magnetic pull he had on her was definitely something to grind teeth about--she did so, even, her jaw locking and cracking as the cartilage ground against her bone. Annoyed much? Perhaps... But she refused to dignify his smart assery with any type of response that may result in more of an issue than it had begun.
"Fine Axel," she'd respond--just a little too casually.
Her head turned to browse once more--neck craning back just a little to see what was at the top shelves. Of course without a footstool, she'd never dream of getting anything up off the top--but...it was always nice to skim and see if you'd find that 'missing link' book that you never could find before.
Arms crossed, unveiling her impatience with the simple shelves as though they'd done something to her personally... Anger never seemed to leave that face.

Axel was immediately on edge from her reply. It just wasn't a tone he was used to when directed towards him. It made him uneasy, like he wanted to seek out the nearest exit just to run through it. Anything to get away.
But no, he wouldn't. He squashed the feeling down. She wouldn't win... not yet.
He leaned against the monolith like shelving, toying absently with the lock while he watched her. She was different than the others, and not for the obvious reasons. It was so difficult to get into her head, to find some way of twisting her around his finger. Larxene was a challenge, one he still wasn't certain as to whether or not he should take the risk in trying to surmount.
Well, since he was already here, he supposed he should give it a try. At least then, even should he fail, he would atleast of the satisfaction of that. "Y'know... I can't understand why you'd resort to such... physical means to open this pathetic trinket."

Boredom forced her to move her legs as she'd find herself gliding on over to the couch where she would sit and succumb to reading some sort of fashion magazine. Amusement often came from Marluxia's gender-confused antics--what with the zine's, the diaries and empty bottles of water crowding the recycling bin like some fucking teenage girl. She merely giggled at the thought of him, her fingers flicking the pages back of society's old-fashioned reading. It was on these pages that she'd find her entertainment today. Classics were nice, but the moderately humorous entries of editors with nothing better to do than to type about the latest gown had put a smile on her face faster than Demyx could on the golf course.
Though the rapid realization Axel was still here put an end to her amusement, as his voice would trail over to her once more. A simple roll of the eyes was given to her own secrecy before she'd turn to face him again, a brow raised as he tossed his usual commentary.
"What does it take to make you go away?" she inquired, "Shutting your trap for five minutes doesn't take much energy, Axel. It'll save you from your sloth for when Demyx gets into bed with you. Might be worth it."
Burn.
Larxene licked her finger, lifting herself some only to do that 'sizzle' thing on her ass. She chuckled a bit afterward then began to pursue reading further on into the minds of desperate women.
Hmm... Maybe this was something he should be reading.

He could feel the sharp points of his teeth digging into the flesh of his tongue. How dare she have the gall to do that. The words he could ignore, him still being there was a testament to that. But the sizzle?! What was she, some prepubescent prep?! Though he wasn't much better, biting his tongue in order to stop himself from saying oh, no you didn't.
He could feel his palms beginning to sweat, the fire that raged through his entire being rising a few degrees. No. NO! He wasn't the one that was supposed to be getting riled, especially not by some lame and pitiful actions of a child.
Axel took a few deep breaths, feeling the flame subside for now. That under control, he moved leisurely towards the reclining woman. "Price for getting me away runs pretty high... think you can pay it?" He leered at her, keeping some distance between them in case of a spark he wasn't planning for.

One simple smirk flashed in the instant his words landed to her attention. She'd humor him with that taunting look, flaunting her hair back and flashing him that charm--that game he'd play in the mirror with himself, most often. Though as blunt as she was half the time, the girl would never admit to find his comely appearance 'charming' and would rather just continue to ignore his whimsical attempts at ever getting her full attention.
"I'm broke." she stated, disinterested and raising her hands in a 'surrender' before returning them to flip another page.
This thing with the flipping and the paging had, of course, become more of a habitual practice... It's not like she read the pages or anything, she just had to look, eh, preoccupied. Though one could only assume so much of the short periods between entries, after awhile it would seem as though she wasn't really reading at all but rather just flipping the pages her hands would lightly push over.
"You're musician might have a few coins to spare, however. Ask him."

His shoulders rolled in a loose shrug before hands settled comfortably on the impossibly thin hips. Axel cocked his head to the side, taking a moment to study Larxene. It annoyed him to no end that she had to have a sarcastically dripping comment for everything he said. And for Demyx to always wind up being the one insulted through it...
Well, as long as the hyped up muscian wasn't here to hear her words then there really wasn't much of a problem.
But, how to counter? What to say that even had the slightest possibility of making those cold eyes flicker? He decided to take a road usually travelled blindly. "I'm sure we could have come to some accord... but, your right. Demyx would probably be far better. I mean, considering his ass isn't wasting away on some couch its probably all nice and firm."

The gaze once fixated on type flared angrily into the form of the boy ahead. Judging by that quick reaction, it was safe to assume her voltage reached to it's maximum capacity. Of course the danger was quite invisible to the naked eye--if one could truly decipher the girl's burning contempt right now, such a peak could be seen even to the blind.
She was smiling, knowing quite well that if a single filthy paw had even lightly brushed her, it would get a good paralyzing jolt of angry. She thought of it as sort of a 'shock' treatment if anything--if you do wrong, you're given 500 watts, period. Only a desperate idiot would try to fail again. Hopefully Axel wasn't much of the moron she believed him to be... he was smart, he would know...
Or would he?
"Want it, Axel?" she questioned, a provocative tone drifting from her words as she'd unzip only a wee bit to reveal a sneak of cleavage, "I dare you to try."
...Bitch.

The red light was flashing. Danger. Beware. RUN FOOL. The point of no return was nearing and his options were becoming limited. Backing away was not one of them. Nope. Not ever. One way or another, Axel would see this path to it's end.
Now, which fork to choose?
She was playing coy, but if he had learned anything it was to not fall for it. No. Like a poisonous snake, one had to always be wary. The snake had hypnotic powers and fangs, to fall for the first was to be instantly bitten by the latter. He knew she was pulling out the first in an arsenal of tricks.
But oh the temptation...
No, nope, nuh-uh. Giving himself a mental slap, Axel tried to regroup. It was obvious that his comment had incensed the girl for she wouldn't be dealing out a new game otherwise. Now, what was his next move to be?
Laying a hand over his chest, he looked at her in faux shock. "Larxene! I can't believe you'd insinuate that I like cows."

"Didn't think you would." she snark'd, her hands pulling the zipper back to it's former place. "Though last I checked, you were the one with obscene spots, not I."
She gave herself bull-horns at the top of her head, mocking him with her hands and spontaneous blurts of "moo-moo" that she threw his way. Clearly, overwhelming rapture engulfed her being as the uncontrollable laughter fought out through sealed lips--her expression intending to be under her control but failing to do so in the instant that giggle slipped from within her. Whoa nelly, he was a trip... regardless of how she would inflate the situation with exaggerated, prolonged humor and spacey insults thrown one after the other.
It seemed though as the temper decreased, the voltage had as well. She was left to recollect the magazine into her hands for further amusement... Axel was getting a tad too old into the hour and as fun as she was having, this simply couldn't last any longer.
"You can go now." she chuckled, waving a dismissal toward him with her eyes locked to the text.
