Despite her insults and pantomime's, Axel felt like a man who had received a pardon just moments before being strapped down in the electric chair. He cracked his knuckles absently, seething slightly from her amusement. She was quite an adversary, a challenge he very much wanted to triumph. But he knew he was still quite a distance from that goal.
"You can go now."
Dismissal. Wasn't she having any fun yet? "Heh, y'know... I think I will go. ...Maybe find Demyx or somethin'." He turned, taking a few steps away before casually looking over his shoulder. "What he lacks in bust he makes up in other places..." Green eyes flicked down towards her bosom before flicking up towards her eyes. "You just lack."

Her eyes never seemed to avert from the pages of ye olde magazine, despite the cautions of his oncoming insults. The trick was to breathe--breathe and let loose the anger before sputtering something completely nonsensical. Of course this method wasn't often needed by the girl, but at this point in their harmful bickering, it'd become a practice very much necessary to pursue with the same strength she had begun with.
She closed the fashionable bible.
"You know Demyx could never top these puppies Lea." she drawled, her shoulders rolling with mocking intention, "Not that you'd ever know."
She reclined, her legs crossed one over the other and hands clasped in her lap. Tea-time plastered over her expression as she sat their smirking, that evil mocking flare that'd burn so deep into others.
"Fucking closet case anyway..."

Vanity, he knew she had it. She wouldn't be flaunting like she did otherwise. Though, Axel wasn't all too sure if it was a conscious or subconscious thing. Meh. Did it really matter? Not as long as it enabled him to hit some sort of nerve.
His eyes closed, nose turned slightly up in the air, an overall look of disinterest being portrayed through body language. He wondered briefly as to how their reactions would be viewed by others, this sick game of baiting that they played. He couldn't help the smirk that played at the corner of his lips.

Larxene wasn't reluctant at all to slam her head back, and with a rather exasperated groan. The couch even made that little "POOF" noise as she sunk into it with her forceful weight. Irritation could only survive in her long enough until it was plain clear on her face that she was all out of ammo.
"I'm done." she surrendered, crossing her arms. "I can't go all day like you can, bitch. It's fun for awhile, but now you're really pissing me off."
She meant to stand and say more but instead her natural gravitational pull forced her over to the shelf of books filled with fables and fairytales. It was a dusty little cubby, covered in cobwebs complete with a broken lamp next to 'Little Red Riding Hood.' She wasn't going to be picky about scenery right now though... Instead she plucked a book, plant'd her ass and continued to read against the bookshelf behind her.
If he wasn't going to leave the 'living room,' then her own migration was just as good.

Had he won? Had he lost?
Axel wasn't all too sure what had just happened. She was done--out of the game. So... why did if feel like he was the one that had dropped the ball at the crucial moment?
He watched as she moved past him, sashaying back towards the bookshelves. It was like the proverbial moth to a flame... which felt kind of wrong considering he should be said flame. He felt put out. Jealous, dare he think it? He huffed, not liking that train of thought at all. Pull the line and let me off, thank you.
Time to change lines.
"Awww, but the glow absolutely illuminates you."

Beautiful.
She hadn't even started on this piece of literature, and already Axel was crooning his words in a different tone. Of course Larx didn't feel as though he deserved her acknowledgment anymore, she did raise a brow over the duration of her skimming pages. If anything the fairytale made her angrier.
'garbage' she thought, her breathing growing a tad heavier as she fought to keep that electrifying magnitude low. In fact, the book in hand clasped shut and was forcibly pressed against herself as she concentrated on the floor. God knew how horrible she was at controlling herself sometimes.
"I swear Axel," she started, her hand making a cut-throat gesture along her neck in unison with her words, "You're going to find your precious' dismembered head on the pillow next to yours."

"Only if it's yours", he said with a laugh, knowing it was time to retreat. He knew he could press on, rile her up more, but where was the fun in that? No, it was time for a major regroup, one that couldn't be done in the few precious seconds it took to say a damn thing.
He turned his back on her, strutting away. He had incited a reaction and that was surely worth something. He didn't know what to count it as, but the knowledge would be useful nonetheless. He would return to her soon--he always did.
